Mrs. Lillie A. Garrett, 75 years, 7 months of age, of Shreveport, died in an Alexandria hospital Saturday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. She was the sister of B. E. Lashley and Mrs. J. H. Guilliams of Winnfield.

Funeral services were conducted at the Mars Hill Church at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. E. B. Barton and Rev. C. C. Martin of Winnfield officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Garrett, a native of Grant Parish, spend her early years at Verda, but had been a resident of Shreveport many years prior to her death. She was a member of the Mars Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Robert S. Garrett, Shreveport; four daughters, Mrs. C. A. Bailey, Shreveport, Mrs. H. H. Davis, Houston, Mrs. Beatrice and Mrs. Mike Daughtry, Bossier City; two brothers, B. E. Lashley, Winnfield and J. H. Lashley, Alexandria; three sisters, Mrs. J. H. Guilliams, Winnfield, Mrs. R. M. Deen, and Mrs. J. M. Corbett, Montgomery; and 10 grandchildren.
