John Parham, 58, of Waterloo, died Thursday, June 24, the victim of a homicide.
He was born August 21, 1951 in Waterloo, son of John O. Parham and Vitrue Hobbs. He married Ramona Rickett in 1985 in Waterloo, and they later separated.
Mr. Parham was formerly employed by the city of Waterloo, and the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.
Survived by two daughters, Ramona Lisa Parham of Chicago, and Vitrue Parham of Waterloo; one sister, Lisa Joy Parham-Sidney of Waterloo; and one brother, Reganald (Brenda) of Waterloo.
Preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Warren.
Services 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Payne AME Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sanders Funeral Service, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
