She was born April 28, 1913, in Charlotte Center, N.Y., the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Anna (Earll) Bean.
She was a lifetime member of the Pine Valley Memorial VFW Post 2522, Ladies Aux.
Thelma is survived by four sons: Arthur J. Sheldon of St. Charles, Mo., Albert W. (Hazel) Sheldon of Londonderry, N.H., David C. Sheldon of Cherry Creek, N.Y., and Raymond L. (Margaret) Sheldon Sr. of Cherry Creek, N.Y.; 22
grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charlie L Sheldon, whom she married on Dec. 27, 1931, and who died on Jan. 18, 1990, her son, Leroy R. (Chub) Sheldon, who died March 28, 2004, her brother Robert L. Bean, her two sisters: Marie Clark and Theresa Rose.
