CLARK, ALBERT LEWIS, 88, of Harriman, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, at his home. He attended Rankin Chapel Baptist Church, Oakdale, and was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked as a builder and contractor for many years.
He was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Mae Coffey Clark; brothers, Arnold Clark, Carl Clark and Walter Clark; and sisters, Carlene Clark, Lela Watson, Mabel Blake and Myrtle Copeland.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Doris Ann Barnwell Clark; adopted daughter, Paulette Kincannon; sister, Eva Solomon; several nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, in Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral service will follow, with Pastor Kerry Ruppe officiating. Graveside service and burial will be at Rankin Chapel Cemetery, Oakdale.
