Samuel Nathaniel Booher was the 10th child of Dory and Mary (Webb) Booher. His first wife was Ada Alice Lemaster, married on 22 September 1901 according to the Montague county marriage books.
Ada died of complications of childbirth on 18 August 1906, the child, Ethel Mary (born on 7 August) died on the 24th.

He then married Sarah "Sallie" Eva Parrott on 25 October 1908.
