Theodore W. Gibson served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Signal Corps, United States Army during World War I.

He was originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In 1934, he was residing in Solebury, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

He was married to Helen (Kessler) Gibson.

He had two children with Helen (Kessler) Gibson: Theodore Whidden Gibson, Jr. and Margaret Kessler (Gibson) Fish.

After Helen died in 1927, Theodore remarried a few years later to Elizabeth Harrison, and they had one child, a daughter named Georgia May Gibson in 1930. She passed away 3 years ago.

Theodore had a distinguished career as a college professor ("Prof Theo") after he returned from World War I. He taught at Wagner College and at the University of Virginia at Wise.
