She was born January 12, 1924 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Elmer & Bernice Vanzandt Cherry. And spent most of her life in the Danville and Havana areas. She was a member of the Havana Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wyatt Manning Hunt and Earl Cherry; parents; siblings, Ray, Roy, Foy Cherry and Dorothy Johnson Crow; grandchildren, Jimmy Cherry Jr., his wife Dana and daughter Emmy.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Brannon and husband Kermit ; son Jimmy Cherry and wife Kay; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside service was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2021 at Havana Cemetery.
