Death followed a brief illness for S. N. West, 67, 608 Beacon Street, at 12:30 a.m. Friday in a local clinic. He was a retired sawmill sawyer, and was born in Waynesboro.
Funeral Services will be conducted from Memory Chapel, but the time has not been set. His body now lies at Memory Chapel.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. S. N. West, Laurel; three daughters, Mrs. W. L. O'flynn [O'Flinn], San Luis Obispo, Calif., Mrs. D. A. Ober, Grass Valley, Calif., and Mrs. Beatrice Moore, Laurel; two sons, William L. West, San Luis Obispo, and S-Sgt. James W. West, Tokyo, Japan; two sisters, Mrs. J. O. Locke, Mobile, and Mrs. Ruth Judge, Valdosta, Ga.; 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
