Douglas was born to Wm Albert Foreman and Eleanor Theresa Kilroy of Govans, Baltimore, January 13,1918. He had four siblings: Catherine (m.Chris Lortz), Charles Whiteford, Margaret King and William A Foreman, Jr. He graduated from Towson Catholic High School. He served in WWII in the Army-Air Force in the Burma Campaign, earning two Distinguished Flying Cross medals. He married Dorothy A Eichelberger October 18,1939 and had three children: Thomas Neil (1948-2003), Jane Elizabeth (1950 - ) and Eleanor Theresa (1958 - ). He worked for the Continental Can Co. in Baltimore and Clifton, NJ for over thirty years and retired to Ocala, Fla in 1980. He returned to Ellicott City in 1994 and died there a year later. He served in the K. of C. and in the American Legion.
