A retired contractor and carpenter, he was born May 30, 1878 in Ennis, Ky. His wife, Mrs. Essie B. Annes, died in 1954.
He is survived by two sons, Jack Annes of Seneca, and Claude Annes, Joplin, a stepson, Robert Camfield, Wichita, Kan., three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Holt, Mrs. Georgia Boerngen and Mrs. Mable Martin, all of Joplin. nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Seneca Cemetery.
