She married Byron "Red" Hutson on Dec. 31, 1933, in Knoxville. He died Aug. 3, 1961. She later married J. Marshall "Mac" McLaren on Aug 1, 1962 in Knoxville. He died May 17, 1988.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna Conover and Barbara (and Wilbur) Perry, both of Knoxville; three sons, Byron Neil (and Sandy) Hutson, Anchorage, Alaska, James E. (and Mary) Hutson, Blytheville, Ark., and John W. (and Sharon) Hutson, East Moline; two brothers, LaVern Walker, Galesburg, and Frank Walker, Knoxville; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Hutson, three brothers and four grandchildren.
She attended schools in Maquon and Knoxville. She was a homemaker and worked at the Circle T in Galesburg and then was a gook at Knoxville High School. She was a member of the Knoxville United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mary Vick Roth officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Knoxville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Knox County Nursing Home and to the Knoxville United Methodist Church.
