Ken Sinnwell, 59, died June 28, 2010 of injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

Ken was born December 31, 1950 in New Hampton, the son of Felipa and Ray Sinnwell. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1970 and served as a Marine in Vietnam from 1971 to 1972.

On April 23, 1977 he married Willie Farmer in Des Moines, Iowa.

Ken retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years of service and having served as president of the letter carriers' union for several years.

Ken is survived by his wife Willie, daughter Erin and son Eric, mother Felipa Sinnwell, sisters Dianne Sinnwell, Cathy Brown (Jerry), Theresa Sheerin, brothers Ron Sinnwell (Debbie), Phillip (Karen), Don (Kathy), David (Pam), Larry (Nancy), Joe (Tracey), mother-in-law Shirley Farmer, brother-in-law Nick, sister-in-law Tracy (David) Mixon and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by father Ray, and brother Dennis.
