He was born on October 31, 1910 in Lindon, Utah to William J. and Lizzie Keetch Cullimore. He married Ilah Thorne in the Salt Lake Temple on October 23, 1934. She preceded him in death in March 1965. He later married Fon Webster, she preceded him in death in August 1999. Sid loved the outdoors and loved planting his vegetable garden and sharing the produce with family and friends. Sid was well known for his love of fishing on the Provo River and Strawberry Reservoir, and his grandchildren have many memories of hunting pheasants with him. He was a caring and loving friend to many.
Sid and Ilah had three children; Pat (Wally) Howell of Fruit Heights, Kent (Donna) Cullimore of Centerville, and Stanley. In addition to his children, he is survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and one older brother, Rich (June) Cullimore of Lindon. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. in the Freedom 2nd Ward Chapel, 888 South Freedom Blvd. (200 West), in Provo. Friends may call at the chapel from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be held at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
