PETER M. KRING JR. of Houston, Texas, died Tuesday morning, May 26, 1987 at a local nursing home. He was born in San Patricia County, October 27, 1901 to Peter M. Kring Sr. and Annie Carlisle Kring. He was educated in Bee County and lived in the area until 1943, when he moved to Houston where he resided until his health failed two years ago. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1981. He was in construction for the major part of his life, having been employed at the Navel Air Station when it was under construction. When he retired in 1973 he was Financial Secretary for the Carpenter's and Joiner's Union. Mr. Kring was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus in Houston.
Survivors; One son, Peter M. Kring III of Houston; two brothers, T. Ray Kring and J. Les Kring both of Corpus Christi; three sisters, Mrs. W. M. (Mabyl) Thompson, Mrs. A. C. (Lora) Roach, and Mrs. S. Hall (Olga) Mireur, all of Corpus Christi; one grandson and four granddaughters.
A Rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Cage-Mills Funeral Home on Everhart. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Msgr. Richard Shirley at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning at St. Pious X Catholic Church. Burial will be at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston, 10:00 a.m. Friday.
