IN MEMORY OF WALTER L. REICHENBACH
1885 - 1986

Walter was born October 4, 1885 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio to N.J. and Delila (Rinehart) Reichenbach.

Walter went home to the Lord on Monday afternoon, March 24, 1986.

He taught in the public school system in the Sugar Creek area. Later he worked in the office at the F.E. Schumacher Co., Inc., Hartville, Ohio.

He moved on from Hartville into the Columbus - Mount Vernon, Ohio area where, even though retired from public work, he remained very active in many ways.

He was an avid reader and student of the Bible and religious books.

He was a member of the First Church of God in Mount Vernon where he taught the Adult Bible Class for a number of years, and was a faithful servant who remained exceptionally alert up to his passing.

He was survived by two daughters, Mrs. William (Ruth) Davis of Aurora, Colorado, and Mrs. Charles (Rose) Alexander of Mount Vernon, Ohio; two sons, Howard of Hartville, Ohio and Glenn of Phoenix, Arizona; four step-children, twelve grandchildren, two of whom lived in the North Canton area, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Raebel and Mrs. Richard (Linda) Shier and Howard's son, formerly of Hartville, Larry Reichenbach of Midland, Michigan, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren (Larry's grandchildren).

The following words written by Helen Steiner Rice sum up Walter's formula for life.

"I have no formula but faith, no gospel but God, no creed but Christ and no love but the Lord. There can be no joy without Jesus!"
