Cordova - Eugene 'Gene' Crosby, 75, a retired employee with Ambler Industries, died Tuesday in a Charleston hospital. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today in Columbia Road Church of God in Orangeburg. Burial, directed by Thompson Funeral Home in Orangeburg, will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg. Mr. Crosby was born in Orangeburg County, a son of Ernest B. Crosby and Lucile Thomas Crosby. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and an active member of Columbia Road Church of God. Surviving are his wife, Mary Olivia Boltin Crosby; two daughters, Dianne Hodge of Summerville and Sylvia All of Barnwell; a son, Dennis E.
