Here lies the Body of Mrs. Alice Page
Wife of Mann Page Esq.
She departed this life on the 11th Day of January 1746
In child bed of her second Son
in the 23rd year of her age
Leaving
Two Son and one Daughter
She was the third daughter
of the Honourable John Grymes Esq.
of
Middlesex County
One of his Majesty's Council in this Colony
of Virginia
Her personal Beauty
and the uncommon Sweetness of her Temper
Her affable Deportment and Exemplary Behavior
Made her respected by all who knew her
The Spotless innocency of her Life
and her singular Piety
Her constancy & resignation at the Hour of death
Sufficiently testified
Her firm & certain Hopes of a joyfull resurrection
To her Sacred memory
