Antonia "Tony" Sehlmeier, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away at the age of 92, on August 11, 1989, of causes incident to her age.

She was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, August 1, 1897. Daughter of Adam and Adriaantje Dykgraaf Boekhout.

Married Johan Frederik Sehlmeier, August 24, 1921, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He preceded her in death in September, 1983. Came to the U.S. in 1948.

Active member of the L.D.S. Church, serving in the Relief Society, Mutual as a Primary President and as Cub Scout Den Mother.

She was a dedicated genealogical researcher, compiling the records of many of her ancestors.

She was devoted to her husband, her children and her grandchildren. An elementary school teacher by profession. She had a great love for children. She will be greatly missed.

Survived by two daughters. Mrs. Jan (Toni) Copier and Mrs. Henry (Ann) Copier, both Salt Lake City; two sons, John H. (wife Marilyn) Sehlmeier, Pleasant Grove, and Adrian W. (wife Graciela) Sehlmeier, Littleton, Colorado. 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and a brother John Boekhout, Salt Lake City.
