Mr. Brenneman was born Dec. 30, 1934, in Nichols, the son of Raymond and Cynthia (Hooten) Brenneman.He lived in Iowa most of his life before moving to Cheyenne and then Colorado and back to Cheyenne in 2001. He married Cheryl Esmoil on June 30, 1957, in Muscatine.
He served his country in the U.S. Army as a Private 1st Class.
He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and belonged to the local Teamsters Union. He enjoyed fishing, camping and tinkering on most anything, but his passion was gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, Cheyenne; sons, Thomas Brenneman, Cheyenne; Douglas Brenneman and wife, Liann, Laramie; Gregory Brenneman, Muscatine, Iowa; a daughter, Pamela Arnold and husband, Dave, Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, Donald Brenneman, Muscatine; sisters, Betty Jameson, Muscatine, Darlene Cornwell, Grove, Okla.; eight grandchildren, Amber, Douglas Jr., Cynthia, Kenneth, Kaliegh, Cody, Cassandra and Kolton Brenneman; four great-grandchildren, Catlyn, Haley, Cameron and Karisa Brenneman; and his beloved dog Molly.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
