Alvin G. Dubs
Alvin G. Dubs, 91, of York, died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Martha M. (Kessler) Dubs.
The service will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Sauter Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove. Burial will be in St. Paul's (Dub's) Union Cemetery, Manheim Township. Viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Dubs was born in North Codorus Township. He was the son of the late Samuel F. and Amanda (Miller) Dubs.
He operated a TV and appliance store for many years at his home in Bair Station.
For 42 years he was the host of "Dutch Al's" radio show on WGCB-Red Lion. He was a member of Faith Evangelical Congregational Church, Bair Station.
Mr. Dubs is survived by a daughter, Jean Young of Loganville; and a brother, Roy M. Dubs of York.
