Military and Naval Notes

Ensign George L. Fermier, who fought bravely at Manila, died on board the gunboat Petrel at Shanghai. Deceased had suffered with stomach troubles, which finally developed into paralysis. He was an Indianian, aged 29, and graduated at Annapolis in 1889
