GRANGER - Beverly J. Waechter Fisette Miller, 82, was born October 18, 1927, in Elkhart, IN, to the late Ethan A. and Edith C. (Magee) Trump. She died peacefully of natural causes on June 27, 2010, in Emeritus at Arborwood Senior Living, Granger, IN, surrounded by the family she so loved.

Bev attended Adams High School. She worked for 29 years at the University of Notre Dame and was the assistant registrar when she retired in 1989. After retirement she achieved her GED in 1990.

On Dec. 2, 1943, she married R. Edward Waechter, who passed away Feb. 9, 1972. On March 13, 1976, she married Leonard J. "Fuzzy" Fisette, who passed away June 6, 1986. On Nov. 18, 1998, she married Cecil R. Miller, who passed away June 17, 2006. She was also predeceased by two sons, Robert A. Waechter in 1947 and John E. Waechter in 1992; one grandson, Michael A. Waechter in 1988; and one sister, Jerry Ann Trump Schneck Nelson in 1991.

She is survived by her children, Diane L. (Zoltan) Tiser of Cassopolis, MI, Joseph M. (Gloria) Waechter of Scott City, MO, and Sharon K. (Cliff) Johnson of Osceola, IN; a brother, Neil A. (Dolores) Trump of Mount Vernon, IN; stepchildren, Rodger (Marilyn) Fisette and David (Donna) Fisette of South Bend, Howard Fisette and Carol (Mike) Penrose of Mishawaka, Denny (Francie) Miller of Osceola, David (Meredith) Miller of Lakewood, CO, and Sharon (Bruce) Csaszar of Osceola; 13 grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 24 step-great-grandchildren.

Bev was a member of Zion United Church of Christ where she sat on the Board of Elders, served as president of the Sisters of Faith and served on the Visitation Committee visiting church members who were shut in. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at American Legion Post 161 and VFW Post 360. Bev was an avid card player belonging to several Bridge and Euchre clubs. At any social gathering, Bev could be found happily sitting at the euchre table. She also donated blood and platelets to the American Red Cross until her health prevented her from further donations.
