Frank Edward Brock, 93, of Ardmore, TN, died Sunday, February 13, 2000, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center for Ardmore.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 16, at 1 p.m. at Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home with Bro. Mickey Buford and Bro. Bruce Walters officiating. Burial will in Gatlin Cemetery with Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home in charge. Masonic rites will be performed at the grave site.
Born September 17, 1906, in Giles County, TN, Mr. Brock was a member of the Wooley Springs Methodist Church. He was married to Lila Lanier who is deceased and they were the parents of two children. He married Lillian Aslinger of Dayton, TN, and they are the parents of one son. They have been married 59 years. Mr. Brock was a store owner and a notion salesman. He was a member of the Woodman of the World, and an avid sports fan who managed several baseball teams.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lila Lanier; his daughter, Lila Brock Duggan; brothers, Glen, Lloyd, Ruby and Clenton Brock; and sisters, Aileene Thomas and Correne Biggerstaff.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Brock of Ardmore, TN; one son, Joseph Edward Brock of Guntersville, AL; one daughter Amaryllis Eckstein of Elkmont, AL; three grandsons, Andy Hargrove of Elkmont, AL, Stacy Duggan of Toney, AL, and Keith Brock of Guntersville, AL; two great grandchildren, Adrienne and Benjamin Hargrove; one sister, Catherine Phillips; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
