Warren G (Buddy) Pearce was born on January 13, 1915, in Stidham, Oklahoma, to Ebenezer Pearce and Bertie Freeman, His family & friends called him Bud instead of Warren except his school enrollments have him as Warren. Bud had six siblings. They attended schools in the McIntosh County area & was of the Baptist faith. They attended church on a regular basis. When Bud was six his father Ebenezer passed away. His mother Bertie remarried a widower William Cothran shortly after Ebenezer's death. From first hand knowledge I was told that William Cothran treated the children very well. The children remained close to one another even as adults. William (Will) & Bertie had no children from their marriage. Bud married a widow Quinnie McReynolds Johnson, who had a daughter Roberta Johnson. Bud and Quinnie were married Aug 25 1936, at Bud's mother & step-dad's home in Eufaula, McIntosh County, Oklahoma, USA. Bud was a deacon at his church at this time. They soon added three children to the family, one was stillborn and is buried in a cemetery close to Hanna, Oklahoma, USA. Bud did farming to support his family. In 1941 the family decided to move to California for better job opportunities. they stayed in Arizona for awhile and had a son and then continued to California where the rest of the children were born. Bud and Quinnie had ten children together. He died on January 20, 1984, in Fresno, California, at the age of 69. Warren G (Bud) Pearce is buried at the Belmont Memorial Park Cemetery, Fresno, California, United States.
