MRS. JASPER EDSALL CLAIMED BY DEATH
Widow of Veteran Was Long Prominent in Work of W.R.C.
Mrs. Amanda Edsall, wife of Jasper Edsall, 2032 Oliver street, died at 2:15 o'clock, Thursday morning at the fam- (photo of Amanda Edsall) ily home at the age of seventy-one years. She came to Fort Wayne in 1872 and had resided here ever since. She was a charter member of the Woman's Relief corps and for thirteen years served as treasurer of this organization.
She was a member of the First M. E. church and besides the husband, is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Rose Sutton; one son, Frank Edsall, of Chicago; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The Woman's Relief corps will hold flag services Saturday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock at the residence.
Funeral services, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the residence, Rev. D. H. Guild officiating. Interment at Lindenwood.
