This second Robert was apparently born in New Brunswick after his parents' immigration in 1817.
The 1851 Canada Census shows Robert and wife,Susannah, Milbourn on page 21 (Robert's parents Jeremiah and Sarah Milbourn nearby on the same page). Robert's age in that census is 30, giving him a year of birth of about 1821.
His 1861 Census, gives an estimated birth date of 1820.
His 1881 Census, with wife Susannah, and children, gives an estimated birth year of 1821.
His 1891 Census also gives an estimated birth year of 1821. Likewise his 1901 Census, taken on March 31, also supports a birth year of 1821.
A note from a Milburn descendant to me states, "This is the date <1820> I received from my aunt Claris McVeigh years ago. Also we used to receive the Milburn Connection (a small book on the Milburn family) which gave information on the Families. You can read a copy if you can go to Wisconsin that is the only place I know who still has a copy. They do not put it out anymore as that generation has passed on. You can search for: The Milburn Connection on line. The different Milburn families sent in articles of information on their families.
