Alexander Moore of Wayne township died of jaundice, Tuesday morning March 20,1900, aged nearly 58 yrs. Mr Moore
was one of the well known citizens of this section of country, having been prominently engaged in business. He leaves a wife & seven children. Lem, liveryman of Waynesburg; William, at home; Belle, wife of Lee Lemley;
Haddie, wife of Sherman Headlee; Mrs.Lilly Hoy; Mary & Elsie yet at home. His brothers are George, Peter & James
Moore of this county & Thomas of WV. The funeral was conducted Wednesday & interment in the new cemetery Claughten Chapel.
