Mr. Knott was 44 years and 25 days old at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife and eight children, Ernest of New Orleans, Evie, Robert, Minnie, Myrtle, Vera, Marie and D. C. at home. They were all present at the time of their father's death, with the exception of one boy who could not be located. Three brothers of the deceased were here to attend his funeral, Roy Knott of Dallas, T. D. and Claude of Milford.
Funeral services were conducted at the grave by Rev. J. C. Scott.
