John W. Cullar, 62, (Retired Capt. U. S. Army), 4501 Pershing Drive, passed away Friday. A resident of El Paso for six years, member of the Montana Street Church of Christ. Served in the U. S. Army for over 22 years. He was a U. S. Custom inspector for the past years.
Survivors wife, Mrs. Adalaide K. Cullar of El Paso, daughter Mrs. Leona Cupola of Allos, California. Also two step-children, step-mother Mrs. Ruth Cullar, of Princeton, Texas. Two sisters, Mrs. Nell Sikes, of Sherman, Texas and Mrs. Stella Lambdam, of California. Three brothers, Ray Cullar, Glen Cullar, and Henry Cullar, all of California, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Harding Orr & McDaniel Pershing Drive Chapel. Bernie Bauer minister officiating. Interment in Fort Bliss Nation Cemetery with military honors.
