James Jesse Meador was born July 10, 1865 and parted this life March 9, 1924. Was married to Lucy Turner Dec 31, 1888 and to this union was born 11 children, all survive but two. He leaves a wife nine children, eight grand children and one sister.
He professed a hope in Christ early after marriage and joined the Baptist church at Oak Dale where he lived a faithful member. He had been in ill health for sometime but bore his affliction with patience. Realizing that death was near he called his wife and children and asked them to meet him in Heaven. Weep not for him for your loss is his eternal gain.
