OBITUARY
The funeral of Ralph D. Allen, 42, was held here Tuesday morning at Roden & Sons chapel by the Rev. Gene Burgess of Immanuel Baptist Church. Interment was made in Evergreen Cemetery, and the bearers were Hayden Redford of Dallas; Clarence Hope, Roswell, N.M.; Don McLaughlin, Carl Foster, Dr. C. D. Barker, Bill Pierson, M. O. Hatcher and Dick Lycan.
Mr. Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Horace D. Allen here, who died Saturday [May 20] in Miami, Okla., had been manager of The Nicholson House here until he was transferred in April as manager of the Hotel Miami.
