She was born in Seneca, Missouri and was resident of San Bernardino for 49 years, died there on Monday at the age of 81. She was housewife and a Protestant. She was survived by her four sons, Leonard Franks and Roy F. Overby, both of San Bernardino, Harold N. Franks of Rialto, and Claude Franks of Couer d'Alene, Idaho; two daughters, Eula M. Branen of Vancouver, Washington and Wilma Dennis of Olympia, Washington; three sisters, Lela Garroutte of Neosha, Missouri, Retha Smith of Houston, Texas and Lucille Moran of Big Springs, Texas, 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Mark B. Shaw Memorial Chapel is handling the arrangements.

Minnie was married to Jasper Newton Franks b. 1871, Missouri d. 1952, California.
