Mr. Edward William Poole, Frederick, well-known retired builder, of Frederick, died at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Poole was a life-long active member of Mt. Zion Lutheran church, near Feagaville. He was the senior partner in forming the Poole & Son Construction Company in 1957, now known as the Poole Construction Company. Mr. Poole retired in 1961.
He had managed the Braddock Heights Park for 21 years.
Funeral services were held at Smith, Fadeley, Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, with the Rev. Edward E. Donnald, Mount Zion Lutheran Church, officiating.
Active pallbearers were all grandsons: Edward W. Poole, Newell Lee Devilbiss, Robert P. Wiegand, Larry Devilbiss, Kenneth L. Poole and Leon G. Poole. Interment in Mount Olivet cemetery.
