Timanda V. 'Mandy' Dill was born July 17, 1844 in South Carolina, daughter of Thomas Seborn Dill (1795-1867) and Rebecca Elizabeth Petty (1803-1871).

Henry K. Pickle was born March 14, 1842 in Monroe County, Mississippi, son of Henry Pickle and Levenia (maiden name unknown).

The 1880 Federal Census for Smithville, Mississippi(Monroe County) shows Timandy Pickle, age 36, born in South Carolina; and her husband, H. K. Pickle, a farmer, age 37, born in Mississippi. Living with them were 8 children: Henry J. Pickle, a farm worker, age 18; Martha Pickle, age 14; George W. Pickle, age 13; Ora V. Pickle, age 10; Louisa Pickle, age 8; Susan Etta Pickle, age 6; Morman Pickle, age 4; and Forest Pickle, age 2; all born in Mississippi.

Timanda died May 3, 1913 in Durant, Oklahoma (Bryan County) and was buried there in the Highland Cemetery. Henry died July 30, 1916 in Durant and was buried in Highland Cemetery beside his wife.
