Death of a Delaware Soldier

Thomas J. Denny, son of councilman Denny of the Eleventh ward, died on Sunday morning, aged 43 years. Deceased served in the Union army during the three months' service and was afterward a member of Company I, Fourth Delaware Volunteers. Although not a member of the G. A. R., Smyth and DuPont Posts will turn out with their guards to bury him with he honors of war. His funeral will p. m. tomorrow at his late home at Beech and Franklin streets. Inter at Riverview Cemetery.
