Mrs. Sitts was born February 27, 1891, in McPherson County. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church, McPherson. She also was a member of the Ladies Aid Club and the Busy Fingers Club, both of Conway. Her husband, Lyle, died in 1978. Survivors include two sons, Asa of McPherson and Leo of Independence; a daughter, Madonna Damsgard of Sheffield, Ala.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
