Daughter of George Gaines Skinner and Mary Eugenia (Hill) Skinner.

Her husband and his parents were buried in the Buck family plot at Pinecrest Cemetery, and her husband's uncle William Amos Buck and family were buried at Magnolia.

Interestingly, Anna Buck was buried in the Edward Jeffries Buck family plot, though this Buck family was only distantly related to her husband's family. The Alabama Death Index shows her burial at Square 8, Lot 38.

According to Tim Childree: "I consulted the cemetery index books to verify she was buried in Sq 8, Lot 38. She was. I consulted the maps to locate Lot 38 and it is where I thought it would be - the lot where Edward Jefferies Buck ...and his wife and much of her family are buried. Her name isn't on any of the grave markers and there's only one spot large enough for an adult grave that isn't marked. So I took a picture of the whole lot and of that spot."
