Anna M. (Hoffman) Demmy, 87 of York died Friday, August 12, 2005 at Providence Place Nursing Facility. She was the wife of the late John H. Demmy, Sr. Born June 5, 1918 in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Matthew and Elizabeth (Lesher) Demmy, she was a member of Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dover. Mrs. Demmy is survived by a daughter, Lovina M. and husband, Charles Balmer of York; two grandchildren, Kimberly A. and husband, George Anderson of York and John D. and wife, Jill Demmy of Newtown Square, PA; six grandchildren, Adam and Alex Anderson, and Nate, Nick, Jack, and Lilah Demmy and a sister, Dorothy Sebert of Sedona, AZ. She was preceded in death by a son, John H. Demmy, Jr. (Sunday News - Aug 14, 2005)
