THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, Nov. 13, 1998, page 4B: 'Alma Jean Carter, 60, of Long Beach, Calif. died at Imperial Crest Health Care Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at Mt. Zanaan Batist Church with the Rev. R. C. Bell officiating. Maxey Funeral Home will make burial in Fairland-Littlejohn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. She was born Dec. 11, 1937, to Baryce and Cletus Bills Alexander. Surviving are her husband, Calvin Carter; two sisters, Marlene Finch of Paris and Katherine Cooper of Cooper; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Danny Finch, Freddie Finch, Terry Alexander, Ray Hearn, Roosevelt Hearn and David Barker.'
