BETTY MAY HEYWOOD GIBBAR wife of GLENNON JOSEPH GIBBAR passed away on October 6, 2002 at St Joseph Hospital in Lewiston, Idaho. She was born January 14, 1929 in Orofino, Idaho the daughter of Harry Bert Heywood & Theda May Smith. Her husband, Glen and 4 children, Marvin Gibbar, LeAnn Gibbar, Shelly and David Stewart and Terry and Coy Gibbar and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, survive her. Betty was a retired teacher – she taught many years in the schools in Weippe and Pierce, Idaho. Services were held Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at the Seven Day Adventist Church in Weippe, Idaho. Betty was a wonderful "lady" and she loved to see "family" and to cook for them. She always wanted to make sure that everyone had "enough to eat". She will be missed very much by all who knew her. Betty was the daughter-in-law of the late William Nicholas and Mary Alberta Layton Gibbar.
