Mrs. Clara Hutson Zipperer, 52, of 1508 Henry Street., died Tuesday afternoon in St. Joseph's Hosptial after a long illness.

She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. Services will be held Thursday morning at 11am at the Irvine Henderson Funeral Home with the Rev. B. C. Tankersley, pastor of the Antioch Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetary.

She was a native of Bluffton, SC but had lived in Savannah for the past 35 years. She was the widow of Dessie Lee Zipperer.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Kessler, Miss Judy Zipperer and Miss Barbara Zipperer, all of Savannah; two sons, Dessie Lee Zipperer, Jr., and Robert E. Zipperer, both of Savannah; five sisters, Mrs. Ralph Towns, Savannah, Mrs. Lurie Hoover, Mrs. T. R. Maddox and Mrs. M.F. Murphy, all of Augusta, and Mrs. D.E. Beach, Blufton, SC.; four brothers, Harry W. Hutson and Lewis R. Hutson, both of Savannah, Luther L. Hutson and Daniel D. Hutson, both of Manchester, Conn.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
