Leonard - Mrs Everett (Virginia Carwell) Leonard, 84, of Janesville died Friday morning, Jan. 13, 1978, in Hilltop Nursing Home, Charleston. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Monday in Barkley Funeral Home, Toledo, with visitation 3-7 pm Sunday. Burial will be in Janesville Cemetery.
Mrs Leonard was born in Coles County, daughter of Thompson and Ida Carwell. She was a retired school teacher and postmistress in the Janesville and Lerna area.
She married Rev Everett Leonard in 1952. He died in 1962.
Surviving are stepdaughters, Mrs Charlene Yazel and Marjorie Jones, both of Grandview, Ind; Geneva Greer of Owensboro, Ky.
