Henry F. Fogle, 79, of 503 Calvary Church Road, Neeses, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, at The Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, at Calvary Baptist Church, Neeses, with the Rev. Benjamin Smoak officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Neeses. The casket will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Pallbearers will be Johnny Fogle, Jackie Fogle, Terry Fogle, Chuck Fogle, Rick Fogle and Raeford Poole. Mr. Fogle was born Oct. 12, 1922, in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Anthony Fogle and the late Lila Flake Fogle. He was retired from Greenwood Mills. He served in the US Air Force and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Edith Fogle of Neeses; one sister, Mrs. Virginia F. Port of Oakridge, Tenn.; six brothers, Tony Fogle of Neeses, Carlisle Fogle of Columbia, Bryan Fogle, Caroll Fogle, Bobby Fogle and Norman Fogle, all of Neeses; and a special family friend, Donnie Poole of Neeses. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home of Orangeburg. Friends may call at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Fogle, 388 Calvary Church Road, Neeses, and at the funeral home.
