WINTER HAVEN - Mr. Gilbert H. Hartlage of Winter Haven died Saturday (Feb. 27, 1999) in Winter Haven. He was 88.
Born in Jefferson County, Ky., on Dec. 14, 1910, he moved to Winter Haven in 1975. He was the retired vice president of an office equipment company. He attended St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Winter Haven.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Hartlage. He is survived by his sons, Gilbert H. Hartlage Jr., Mantua, N.J., William P. Hartlage, Louisville, Ky.; daughters, Marilyn Ann Tharp, Winter Haven, Thresa Darlean Morrison, Shepherdsville, Ky.; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 tonight, with vigil service at 7 at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 645 W. Central, Winter Haven. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Matthew's Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Matthew's Catholic Church Building Fund.
