Altha Barley, 90, of Dayton, died Tuesday in an area hospital. A native of Rhea County, she had lived in Dayton most of her life, where she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Roddy Barley. Survivors include her sister, Viola Barley, Dayton. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with Arthur Mincy officiating. Burial will be in Spence Cemetery. Vanderwall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
