Father Charles F. Walsh, 85, formerly of Yorkville, died Sunday at the Floyd Memorial Hospital at New Albany.
He was presently residing at the Providence Retirement Home at New Albany.
He was ordained June 10, 1919, and was former pastor of the Holy Trinity at New Albany and former pastor of St. Michael's at Madison. He was at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Yorkville from 1957 until his retirement in 1972. There are no immediate survivors.
Services will be at 11 Wednesday at St. Martin's Catholic Church at Yorkville with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the church with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. The Andres-Wuestefeld Funeral Home at Dover was in charge of arrangements.
