Funeral services for Glena Jordan, 77, of Winnsboro, LA will be held at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Hurby Hitt and Rev. Dewayne Butler officiating. Interment will follow at Jigger Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Glena Jordan was born March 23, 1933 in Jigger, LA and passed away Friday June 25, 2010 at her residence in Jigger. She was a retired Fort Necessity School cafeteria manager. She found much enjoyment in her candlemaking business, Glena's Candles.
She was preceded in Death by: Father-Roy Cupp, Mother-Marie (Rush) Cupp, 3 Brothers-Cloyce Cupp, Raymond Cupp, and Merlin Cupp, 2 sisters-Pauline Sisk and Louise McKenney
Survivors include: Husband-Jack Jordan of Jigger, La. 2 sons-Mike Jordan of Winnsboro, LA, Jackie Jordan and wife Janice of Liddiville, LA, 4 daughters-Shirley Graves and husband Shelby of Wisner, LA, Donna Roark of Chase,LA Kay Erskin and husband Joey of Dickson, TN, Julie Jordan of Monroe, LA, Brother-Marvin Cupp of Kilgore, TX, 2 sisters-Roberta Housden and husband Jimmy of Kilgore, TX Velda Hudson of Carlsbad, NM, 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Cam Hitt, Coy Hitt, Danny Wayne Posey, Doug Foy, Rodney Jordan, and Byron Jordan. The Honorary Pallbearer will be Wayne Smith.
