Curtis, to my surprise he knew Rhoda and George Curtis. We visited him, he said the reason George Thomas was called (Black Tom) was because he was Black Dutch. He let me take pictures of, Rhoda Hurst and George Thomas Curtis, to Walmart and copy them. He told me, Bea (Curtis) Bell lived in Hector, Ark., dau. of Gabriel (Gabe) Curtis. I called Bea, she sent me a picture of Calvin E. Hurst and daughter, Rhoda R.(Hurst)Curtis. Calvin was the gr-grandfather of Bea, I sent her pictures of his grave. She said she did not know her gr-grandfather Calvin was buried in that cemetery. Bea lives 6 miles from the cemetery and now decorates his grave.
