Marian R. Earp, 89, of Roseville, Ill., died at 1:25 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at LaMoine Christian Nursing Home in Roseville.
Born Sept. 5, 1912, in Monmouth, Ill., she was the daughter of Theola and Mary Ruby Hutchinson Hess.
She married Wayne Earp on Jan. 9, 1932, in Galena, Ill. He died May 14, 2001.
Mrs. Earp was a homemaker.
She loved to sew, crochet, cook and take care of her flowers. She served on various church committees and taught Sunday school in both Biggsville (Ill.) Presbyterian Church and Roseville Christian Church, where she was a member for many years. She was a member of Science & Art Club and the Women's Club of Roseville. She loved to travel in the United States and abroad and spent several winters in Florida.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Burial was in Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for her church.
