Minnie Estel Algeo was the daughter of James Monroe Watson and Lou Ida Belle Miller. She was the granddaughter of Elijah Spencer Miller and Harriet Curbow. She married Robert Laurel Algeo in 1929.

Minnie Estel Algeo, 97, of Buckeye died May 18, 2010, in Peoria. Mrs. Algeo was born Nov. 8, 1912, in Ardmore, Okla., to Lue and Idabelle Watson. She grew up in Oklahoma and married Robert L. Algeo in 1929. The family moved to the Buckeye Valley area in 1936. She worked in the school system until she retired in the late 1970s. She then lived in both Buckeye and Heber. She is survived by four grandchildren, Dennis Lee of Glendale, Robert Wright of Oregon, Richard Wright of Oregon, and Linda Louise Centner of Goodyear; and many great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandson. Services will be at 9 a.m. today at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery, 23100 W. Broadway Road in Buckeye. The Rev. Artie Woodcox will officiate. Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home made the arrangements.
